Food and Beverage Supervisor

Working in spectacular surroundings based on the exclusive Sandbanks peninsula, our 4* Harbour Heights Hotel are looking to recruit an experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join their team. The hotels are looking for the best in customer service, so if you have experience working in hotels in customer- facing roles and you are professional and confident, then this could be for you.

Successful candidates would be required to work to a rota which will include weekends, evenings and bank holidays on rotation.

The main responsibilities of the roles include

  • To greet and seat guests on arrival to the restaurant.
    • To ensure tables are laid up for breakfast/lunch/dinner to the required standard.
    • To serve meals ensuring that high levels of food presentation are adhered to.
    • To ensure the shift runs smoothly by allocating tasks to staff.
    • To ensure that the restaurant remains clean and presentable at all times.
    • To ensure that, in the Bars Manager’s absence, the bars are run efficiently and that minimum wastage occurs.
    • Ensure drinks are served at a consistently high quality
    • To be responsible for the security of the stock and cash whilst on shift

To ensure the smooth running of Conference and Banqueting functions
To ensure a meet and greet is carried out with all organisers
• To ensure the function room is set up according to the function room details
• To ensure that the function rooms remain clean and presentable at all times

Candidate specification
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• A real passion for providing excellent customer services is a MUST.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• To be quality driven and want to help develop new ideas.
• IT literate.
• Excellent food hygiene knowledge.
• Have a “Can Do” Attitude.
• The candidate must be able to do some physical work as it will be a part of the role.
